We would like to send out a warm thanks to Seven Delegates from the Youth Maslikhat (Legislature) of Youth Parliament Development from Kazakhstan for attending the Senate session this morning. As the YMCA Collegiate Legislature is a Mock Session the Youth Maslikhat actually as the authority to mandate and enforce their legislation that passes. A recent bill that the Youth Maslikhat passed abolished the use of tobacco in any public place in Kazakhstan and it has been going over well.
The delegates presented YMCA Executive Director Andy Sullivan with an exclusive business card holder for his graciousness and hospitality shown towards their delegation while here in Montgomery.
